Project Summary

A student housing scheme breathes new life into a long-neglected site in Woolwich.

Redevelopment Project

The new 299 room PBSA scheme redevelops the long-closed Woolwich Catholic Club site. Alongside a mixture of studios, premium studios and cluster bedrooms, there’s plenty of amenity space across the scheme for students to relax, socialise and study. Central to the development is a flexible community hub on the ground floor designed in collaboration with local people.

We’ve provided an integrated service for our client, a JV partnership between Hurlington Capital and QIP, working with the design team and calling on all our skills to deal with issues arising from demolishing the existing building and overcoming challenges around access, land ownership, basement alterations and proximity to Elizabeth line train tunnels.

The project is on track and set for Summer 2026 occupation.
