The proposal is an independent living scheme with apartments within planning use class C2, offered to elderly residents who have a care need in Brentwood, Essex.
KS4 has been appointed by Lifestory to provide full QS and EA services. The proposed building comprises of 6 one-bedroom apartments and 42 two-bedroom apartments with shared communal facilities.
The internal layout of the care apartments has been designed to maximise the independence of residents. Each flat has a kitchen and living area, an en-suite bathroom or shower room, accessed from the lobby and from the bedroom where practicable.
